The Tin Pan is a great restaurant but also a place to hear some great performances. Most nights they feature local and touring music acts. They serve American food like salmon, pot pie, fish tacos, mace and cheese and more. They rotate their menu so that they always have fresh, new things for you to try. It's also not so big so you aren't left wondering what to get. The bar is a cool place to get drinks. One of the owners has created many craft cocktails that he wrote a book about making different cocktails.

Hutch Bar & Eatery is a place for some good eatin'. The owners opened this restaurant after their first restaurant, Toast, was successful. Start your meal off with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts and try not to fall in love with them. A popular meal here is the Ribs and Gouda Mac. They even make some good fried chicken which is uncommon in Virginia. Another meal that is a favorite is the Toast Burger. End your meal with the Nanner Pudding for dessert. They also make a lot of their own dressings.

Rare Olde Times has been a fixture in Richmond since 1994. They are a friendly pub filled with delicious food, drinks and live performances. There's an Irish feel to it with the Irish food and drinks as well as a lot of their staff is from Ireland. The owner has worked as a head chef in many renowned restaurants in Ireland and Vancouver. You'll find many traditional Irish recipes that have been updated with today's fresh tastes. This place will definitely hold a lot of "Best" meals on your list.
